PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To align an angle between a rotational shaft of an exposing drum and an optical axis of an exposing head by providing an optical beam detecting mechanism and an optical beam position aligning mechanism in an image scanning device. SOLUTION: An optical beam of an exposing head 28 passes through a via- hole section 110 of an exposing drum 14. Aligning of an angle between a rotational shaft of an exposing drum 14 and an optical axis L of an exposing head 28 is completed such that shafts 16, 18 are lifted by means of cams 116, 120 so as to project the passed optical beam to an optical sensor 106 provided to a rod 104.
