PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a nozzle touch state by a pressing pressure to the injection aperture of a nozzle instead of by a positional control. SOLUTION: In the nozzle touch off method for the injection device 1 of an injection molding machine, a drive source for nozzle touching at the injection device 1 is constituted of a screw mechanism S and a servo motor 17 for nozzle touching. The control of the nozzle touch state is performed by the torque control of the servo motor 17 for nozzle touching.
