PURPOSE: To enable the easy correction of deviation of a vehicle caused by braking force difference between lateral wheels even in the case of an anti-skid device being actuated when the lateral wheels are on the road surface with different friction coefficients. CONSTITUTION: A power steering electrical control unit 27 receives an anti-skid operating signal AS from an anti-skid electrical control unit 17 and detection signals, indicating braking oil pressure PL, PR to be supplied to wheel cylinders 14a, 14b for lateral front wheels 15a, 15b, from oil pressure sensors 29a, 29b so as to detect that an anti-skid device is in operation and that the braking force difference between the lateral front wheels is large. Upon detection, oil pressure supplied to reaction adjusting mechanism 25 in a control valve 21 is controlled by controlling a solenoid valve 26 so as to reduce steering reaction imparted to the operation of a steering wheel 22 by the reaction adjusting mechanism 25. |
