Halogen-containing vinyl polymer resins are in the form of co-coagulates of particles of halogen-containing vinyl polymer resins and particles which are chosen from the group of processing aids, stabilisers, plasticizers and/or other polymer resins which particles are substantially homogeneously distributed throughout. These co-coagulates are substantially free of polymer dust and fines and are substantially free from lumping and crusting. These co-coagulates present good flowability, thermal stability and extrudability. The co-coagulates may be formed by adding an emusion of the particles to an emulsion of a halogen-containing polymer, e.g. a polymer or copolymer of vinyl chloride or vinylidene chloride, and co-coagulating the emulsions. The added particles may be of epoxidised soybean oil, others also being specified. |
