PURPOSE:To fit a door key cylinder to a cover cap without deteriorating the fitting strength. CONSTITUTION:In the device in which a handle base 3 is inside the metallic outer plate 1 of a vehicle door and an operation handle 2 is outside the outer plate 1 respectively arranged, both are fastened together with a fastener, a cover cap 25 made of synthetic resin is arranged on the position in the vicinity of the operation handle 2 outside the outer plate 1, and the cover cap 25 is formed with a key window 31 exposing the key inserting port of a key cylinder 28, the key cylinder 28 is fixed to the cover cap 25 by means of a split pin 32 and the like. The handle base 3 is provided with a block piece 39 capable of preventing penetration of the key cylinder 28 in the direction of the inside of the door integratedly or separatedly. |
