PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly reliable magnetic disk device by suppressing the displacement of the contact position of a slider and disk caused by thermal expansion of a ramp member, in the magnetic disk device for performing the loading/unloading operation. SOLUTION: The device is provided with the ramp member 7 for retracting the slider 31 furnished with the magnetic head from the disk and a lift tab 32 positioned at the tip part of a suspension 4 for moving the slider 31 and engaged with the ramp member 7. Then a thermal deformation part 39 is provided at the tip part of the suspension 4 for making the lift tab 32 displace in the same direction as the thermal expanding direction of the ramp member 7 at the time of temperature rise of the magnetic disk inside, then the change of the landing position of the slider at the time of loading due to the thermal expansion of the ramp member 7 is reduced.
