PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air spindle for testing disk by which the accuracy of aligning and the dispersion of reproducibility can be suppressed, and the occurrence of dust and deposit can be prevented. SOLUTION: A disk G is sucked and fixed to the end part of a hub 33, and a taper cone 36 is pressurized and fitted to a center hole H of the disk G by energizing force of a spring 38, thus the disk G is centered. An air bearing 37 which supports the shaft part 36a of the taper cone 36 freely movably in the axial direction is provided in non-contact with the shaft part 36 in the hub 33.
