PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical cell unit of a honeycomb type having a simple and highly efficient gas supply structure with no possibility of contacting fuel gas due to a broken partition wall during mounting an external manifold for gas supply. SOLUTION: One gas passage 5 and the other gas passage 6 are formed in a structural body 1 of a honeycomb type consisting of an air-tight solid electrolyte and an air-tight interconnector almost in parallel to the side wall 1B of the structural body 1 of the honeycomb type, the structure 1 of the honeycomb type being passed through the other gas passage 5. One gas is introduced through one gas introducing hole 2 formed in the main face 1A of the structure 1 of the honeycomb type into the other gas passage 5 and the other gas is introduced through a gas introducing hole 3 formed in the side wall 1B of the structure 1 of the honeycomb type into the other gas flow passage 6 via the other gas distribution passage 4. |
