PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte with high flame-resistance and high charging discharging performance by basically constituting with a nonaqueous solvent comprising a polyalkylene glycol ether derivative and a phosphate compound, and an electrolyte. SOLUTION: As a polyalkelene glycol ether derivative, a compound represented by formula I is used, and a nonaqueous solvent is preferable to contain a solvent of a cyclic carbonate in formula II and/or a chain carbonate. As a phosphate compound, a compound in formula III is used. In the formulas, R, R' are each hydrogen or 1-20C hydrocarbon group; A, B are each 2-8C alkylene group or phenylene group; (j) and (l) are 0-2000; (k) is 0 or 1; (m) is 1--100; and (n) is 1-4. R1, R2 are each hydrogen, or 1-3C alkyl group. As an example, as the polyalkylene glycol ether derivative, polyethylene glycol is listed, and as the phosphate compound, trimethyl phosphate is listed. |
