PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a long stream reproducing using a music reproducing function of a reproducing device. SOLUTION: The device reads long stream portions 1, which are made by dividing a BGM long stream, from a peripheral equipment 4 and stores the portions 1 in equally divided areas A and B of a RAM 6. Compressed waveform samples of the area A are read from a memory controller 5, decoded by an ADPCMDEC 7 and outputted. When a CPU 3 detects the fact that all ADPCM music waveform samples are read from the area A by monitoring a REG 10, long stream portions 2A are stored in the area A. When a reproducing progresses and a last sample is read from the area B, the CPU 3 stores long stream portions 2B in the area B similarly. By repeating the operations above, long streams are reproduced. |
