PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for an integrated circuit, usable at a high temperature of 250 deg.C or above, e.g. at 350 deg.C. SOLUTION: This socket is provided with a right socket split body 10 having a contact 50, a left socket split body 20 having a contact 50, a spacer 30 keeping the interval between the right socket split body 10 and the left socket split body 20 at the prescribed interval, and a fixing means 40 integrating the right socket split body 10, the spacer 30 and the left socket split body 20. The right socket split body 10, the spacer 30 and the left socket split body 20 are made of a ceramic, and the contacts 50 are made of a stainless steel spring sheet plated with gold with the purity of 99.99% or above. |
