METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ASSEMBLING TIMER BLOCK FOR RETARDING SWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling method and device for a timer block for a retarding switch including an automated press fitting process of an air permeating member into an air introducing part of a suction cup block. SOLUTION: A suction cup block transport table 211 to transport suction blocks in such a condition as located in location holes 212a and 212b and a table 221 to transport air permeating members in the located condition are arranged in such a way as partially overlapped vertically one over another. Two sorts of air permeating members having different diameters are supplied by parts feeders 231a and 231b, with the heading direction changed by direction changing parts 232a and 232b, and are set on the table 221. This assembling device is equipped with a press fitting device 240 to press-fit the air permeating members into the air introducing part of the suction cup block in the condition that the blocks and air permeating members are laid one over the other.
