PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure of a foldable portable telephone set through the use of rubber, to make the size small and the weight light, to obtain a proper operating force and to facilitate positioning. SOLUTION: A shaft unit 7 to connect a main body side connection part 4 and an opening/closing side connection part 6 coaxially and freely turnably is provided with a 1st relative turning part 13 and a 2nd relative turning part 14 that are integrally and coaxially coupled with either of the main body side connection part 4 and the opening/closing side connection part 6. The 2nd relative turning part 14 has a 2nd follow part 24 having a coaxial inner circumferential face, the 1st relative turning part 13 has a 1st hollow part 21 fitted coaxially to the 2nd hollow part 24 and is provided with an elastic body 25 with a cylindrical face fitted to the 1st hollow part 21 as an outer circumferential face and with a slider 26. A slider fitting hole 22 that is penetrated diametrically and to which part of the slider 26 is fitted is made to the 1st hollow part 21, a positioning recessed face 29 is made to the 2nd hollow part 24, they are smoothly operated and the assembling of the unit is made highly efficient.
