PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized heating cooker excellent in heating efficiency. SOLUTION: The rotary shaft 38 of a fan motor 37 is inserted into an inner heat shield board 28 through a large-diameter inner shaft hole 35 from a small- diameter outer shaft hole 36, and a hot blast fan 39 is fixed to the tip of the rotary shaft 38. In this case, hot air is returned into the inner thermal insulation board 28 through the inner shaft hole 35 from the peripheral section within a heat insulating space 31, and is discharged into a cooking room 22 through a heater 30. Therefore, the heat generated by heater 30 is used efficiently for generation of hot blast, so that heating efficiency of cooked matter rises. Accordingly, the temperature of the fan motor 37 becomes hard to rise, so a cooling fan 40 is downsized, and the dimension in backward and forward direction of the device can be made small.
