PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibrator that is suitable for high density mount and always exhibits stable performance without being affected by external disturbance such as vibration received externally. SOLUTION: In the piezoelectric vibrator where one end 19 of a piezoelectric vibrating element 11 long in one direction contained in a case is supported as a fixed terminal and the other terminal is used for a free end 21, a plate material 31 having a thermal expansion coefficient similar to that of the piezoelectric vibrating element 11 is fixed in the case nearly in parallel with the piezoelectric vibrating element 11 and the free end 21 of the piezoelectric vibrating element 11 is pressed into contact with a support member 22 provided to the tip of the plate member 31 and having elasticity.
