摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an inside optical module from being shifted by external force at the time of connection for an optical fiber cord, in an optical communication device such as an optical transceiver. SOLUTION: An optical module 4 inside an optical transceiver, for example, has structure integrated with a package 10 with an optical element 15 built-in and having lead terminals 11, and an optical connector part 5 having structure substantially the same as a so-called MT connector and having an optical fiber 5a built-in. A stand 20 for specifying a height position from a substrate 3 of the module 4 is provided in a bottom face of the package 10 of the module 4, and a protrusion 21 engaged with a hole 3a drilled in the substrate 3 is provided integrally. When an optical fiber cord is pushed into the transceiver to be connected, the protrusion 21 receives the external force to prevent it from acting on the lead terminals 11 even in the case where external force is applied to the module 4 from a optical fiber cord side. Positonal shifting of the module 4 caused by deformation of the terminals 11 is eliminated, and the height position of the module 4 is easily made constant by the stand 20.
