<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent leakage in branch part. SOLUTION: A thinned part 34 is formed inside a snap tap saddle 10. Elapsing a long time after letting water to pass through a pipe 12, the pipe 12 is expanded by the hydraulic pressure and the expansion part 46 is entered into the theft part 34. As a result, the pipe 12 and the snap tap saddle 10 are engaged with each other in the thinned 34. In a branch part, the hydraulic pressure applied to the pipe is supported by the snap tap saddle 10 and the gasket 40, however, compared with a case of having no thinned part 34 inside the snap tap saddle 10, the area supporting the hydraulic pressure is narrowed. Compared with the case having no thinned 34, the pressure applying to the connecting face of each of the snap tap saddle 10 and the gasket 40 with the pipe 12 is increased, and a force compressing the gasket 40 is enlarged.</p> |
