PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover developer into a developing container, while restraining the leakage and the scattering of the developer by providing a 1st magnetic field generating seal member whose magnetic pole having a polarity different from that of a magnetic field generating means is proximately facing opposite a developer carrier, so as to generate magnetic field nearer to the inner side of the developer container with respect to the magnetic pole of the magnetic field generating means in the vicinity of an aperture part. SOLUTION: A magnetic seal member 34 which is a 1st magnetic field generating seal member is disposed on a somewhat downstream side in the moving direction of a sleeve 31 from a pole N1 (on the downstream side in the moving direction of the sleeve 31), that is, on the inner side of the developing container 30 so as to nearly face the pole N1 below the sleeve 31. Therefore, the residual developer which has not been served for development at the time of developing processing is recovered and carried into the container 30, first in a state where it is still firmly held by the pole N1 at the entrance of the container 30. Furthermore, the developer held by the pole N1 is recovered more smoothly and carried into the container 30, because force attracting the developer to the member 34 side(inner side of the container 30) acts on the developer by the member 34. |
