A mixer/dispenser has a large-diameter vaned wheel (5) in a spiral housing (4) on the front end of a bin (1), fed by a conveyor (2) and/or shredder (3) from bales placed in the bin. The housing has two tangential outlets (8, 9), one for recycling the shredded material back into the bin and the other for side ejection, while a shutter (10) with counter-cutters (18, 19) determines which outlet is open. The shutter is formed by a part of the spiral housing on a sector panel operated by a power cylinder (13).
