PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an armature for a permanent magnet generator which can prevent disconnection of a coil terminal line in a boundary part to a terminal. SOLUTION: An armature coil is wound around an armature core 1 via a resin bobbin 2. An insulating tape layer 5 is formed on the outer periphery of the armature coil. Each terminal 6b, connected with a terminal line 3b of the armature coil, is positioned and arranged in the peripheral part of the insulating tape layer 5. A protective tape layer covering the terminal 6b is formed in the peripheral part of the insulating tape layer 5 and impregnated with an impregnant. The terminal line 3b adjacent to the terminal 6b is clamped from the inside and the outside by silicone rubber tapes 11a, 11b, in a state in which deflection is imparted to the terminal line 3b. The clamped part by the tapes 11a, 11b is wrapped by the insulating tape layer 5 and the protective layer.
