SILENCING DEVICE FOR APPARATUS USING RELAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the noise generated when the vibration due to the opening/ closing of the contact of a relay is transferred to another member from the relay by providing a conductive member for suppressing the transfer of the vibration from the relay to a circuit board and a buffer for damping the vibration from the relay to the circuit board. SOLUTION: A buffer 5 formed into a sheet shape with a vibration damping material such as rubber is provided between the lower face of a relay case 11 and a circuit board 2, and a relay 1 is mounted on the circuit board 2 via the buffer 5. A relay terminal 1a provided on the relay 1 and the circuit board 2 are electrically connected via a conductive member 6 made of a thin plate of a conductive material. The conductive member 6 is made of the thin plate having the spring constant set small to suppress the vibration generated by the relay 1 from being transferred to the circuit board 2. The conductive member 6 electrically connects the relay 1 to the circuit board 2, however it rarely transfers the vibration generated by the relay 1 to the circuit board 2.
