PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel capable of preventing the deterioration of a phosphor layer and stably discharging at a low voltage. SOLUTION: This plasma display panel is provided with a pair of insulating substrates 1, 11 arranged in parallel with each other with the predetermined space, plural barrier ribs 3 formed between the pair of insulating substrates 1, 11, each address electrode 7 formed in a bottom part of plural discharge display cells 5 surrounded by the pair of insulating substrates 1, 11 and the barrier ribs 3, and each pair of discharge maintaining electrodes 13 formed at positions opposite to the address electrode 7. The address electrode 7 is formed with a conical projecting part 17 projected from a phosphor layer 9 toward the discharge maintaining electrodes 13.
