PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the opening and closing of a cover without damaging a drip-proof packing by allowing protuberances provided on the cover projecting from the packing to deformably get along with holes formed in a main body even when the cover is closed. SOLUTION: An electrode is fixed to a cover 6, and the cover 6 is then attached to a packing 5 to be integrated with the packing 5. A shaft of the cover 6 is rotatably fixed in a hole of a portable device body 1, thereby allowing the cover 6 to be opened and closed. When the integrated cover 6 is closed onto the body 1, it is tightly fitted with the packing 5 on the inner circumference of the body 1, thereby allowing a drip-proof mechanism in a horizontal direction to function. Further, the cover 6 is fitted to be fixed into holes or with protuberances formed in or on the body 1. Therefore, the cover 6 can be opened and closed with ease, and when the packing 5 contacts the upper surface of the body 1, the drip-proof mechanism in a vertical direction functions. Thus, the packing 5 can be compressed in two directions, horizontal and vertical, thereby providing a more reliable drop-proof structure. As a result of this construction, the drop-proof packing 5 is no longer twisted and broken, and hence the cover can be opened and closed easily.
