DEGAUSSING DEVICE FOR COLOR PICTURE TUBE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a degaussing device for color picture tube capable of stably performing uniform and sufficient degaussing with a small degaussing power without extremely complicating the degaussing device. SOLUTION: Concerning the degaussing device for color picture tube, a degaussing coil 30 is divided into two loop coils 31 and 32 with a horizontal or vertical axis orthogonal with a tube axis inbetween, and alternative degaussing currents generated from both the loop coils 31 and 32 are supplied to both the loop coils 31 and 32 so that the alternative degaussing currents can be in the same direction between these loop coils.
