PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the insulating performance of a stationary induction apparatus without miniaturizing the apparatus, by a method wherein a winding wire provided with an insulating member of a relative permittivity lower than a specified value is provided at the high-electric field side part of the apparatus. SOLUTION: An insulating member 19 of a relative permittivity lower than 1.5 is provided on both ends of the fourth winding wire L4 of a low-voltage side winding wire 14, both ends of the winding wire H1 or H9 of a high-voltage side winding wire 16 and both ends of a tap winding wire T. When the relative permittivity of the member 19 is set lower than 1.5, the breakdown voltage of the member 19 is not changed, but when the relative permittivity of the member 19 is set at 1.5, the breakdown voltage of the member 19 is abruptly changed and is reduced. Accordingly, by the above constitution, the insulating performance of the main insulating part between the winding wires 14 and 19, the part between the winding wire 16 and a yoke part 12 (earth part) and the mutual (interlayer) part between the wires H1 and H9 can be made to enhance. Moreover, as the insulation distances between these parts can be remarkedly lessened, a stationary induction apparatus can be miniaturized as a whole.
