PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the mechanical strength of the insulating columns of an electrode row structural body provided on an ion accelerator and improve dielectric strength. SOLUTION: Many unit electrode pairs 2 are supported on a pair of insulating columns 1 to form an electrode row 3, and an accelerating tube is arranged in the electrode row 3. Column structural bodies 1A, 1B arranged with multiple insulating plates in the longitudinal direction are arranged face to face to form each insulating column 1, inside electrode metal fittings 4 are arranged on the outside plate face of one column structural body 1A, outside electrode metal fittings 5 are arranged on the outside plate face of the other column structural body 1B, and an intermediate electrode metal fitting 10 is arranged in the gap between the column structural bodies 1A, 1B. Corresponding inside electrode metal fittings 4, intermediate electrode metal fittings 10 and outside electrode metal fittings 5 are fastened and fixed to the insulating columns 1 by bolts, and the unit electrode pairs 2 are supported on the outside electrode metal fittings 5.
