PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute printing by naturally discriminating the center position of each image frame even when the exposed image frames are superposed. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a line sensor 30 detecting the edge of the image frame of a negative film 1 carried by a stepping motor 24, and the control form of a controller 4 is set so that a position at a specified distance from each edge is set in an image center when a distance between the edge on a carrying upstream side and the edge on a carrying downstream side detected by the sensor 30 is equal to or above the length of one image frame and under the length of two image frames, and driving of the motor 24 is stopped when the image center reaches the mask center of the negative mask 17.
