PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce display irregularity due to static electricity without using a conductive tape, etc., by providing an arrester electrode facing opposite the terminal parts of display electrodes on the opposite side from an extraction electrode group at specific intervals. SOLUTION: On a transparent electrode substrate 10, many segment-side display electrodes 11 are formed in stripes along a Y-axis parallel to each other. A terminal part 101 is provided successively to the transparent electrode substrate 10 and at a terminal part 101, extraction electrodes 111 connecting with the respective display electrodes 11 are formed. At the terminal part 112 of each display electrode 11, (end part on the side of the extraction electrode 111), an arrester electrode 20 is provided, while a specific gap is left. Namely, the arrester electrode 20 is arranged in 1:1 relation with respect to the display electrode 11. When the electrostatic charging quantity of static electricity exceeds a prescribed value, the static electricity is discharged between the display electrode 11 and arrester electrode 20, so that the generation rate of linear display irregularity is reduced drastically.
