PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the number of detaining parts for a supporting wire to fix lenses, to shorten the production time for spectacles and to reduce the production cost thereof by forming a bridge member for connecting rings of a tubular member and passing the supporting wire made of a high-polymer resin into this bridge member in such a manner that the supporting wire wraps the marginal end faces in the lower parts or upper parts of the lenses along the lens shape to detain both ends to the rims. SOLUTION: A half rim frame 3 is first produced by using a pipe material of, for example, 1.3 mm in diameter as the bridge member 1 and connecting the bridge member 1 to the right and left rims 2, 2' by an ordinary brazing method. Next, a 'Nylol (R)' wire of, for example, 0.5 mm in diameter which is the supporting wire 4 is passed into the bridge member 1 and both ends of the supporting wire 4 are drawn downward. The supporting wire is then wrapped around the lenses 5 for spectacles along the groove parts formed at the marginal end faces of the lenses 5 for spectacles and both ends of the supporting wire 4 are fixed by the detaining parts disposed at the right and left rim parts. The detaining parts are two fine holes which are directly formed at the rims 2 and allow the passage of the supporting wire 4 like wave sewing.
