MAGNETOSTATIC FILTER AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetostatic wave device that has both functions of an interference wave limit circuit and an S/N enhancer. SOLUTION: In the magnetostatic wave element 24 where a 1st transducer 22 and a 2nd transducer 28 are placed nearly side by side on a yttrium iron garnet YIG thin film 21 to which a DC magnetic field is applied, one terminal of the 1st transducer 22 is connected to a signal input terminal 52 and a 1st signal output terminal 53 via a circulator 51 and one terminal of the 2nd transducer 28 is connected to a 2nd signal output terminal 54. Thus, the magnetostatic wave element 24 has both functions of an interference wave limit circuit and an S/N enhance at the same time.
