PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a comparator that achieves a high-speed operation while ensuring a low consumption current. SOLUTION: A reference voltage generated by a reference voltage generating circuit 21 is applied to an inverter 7 configuring the comparator as a power supply voltage. The reference voltage generating circuit 21 comprises a constant current source 22 and a reference voltage generating element 23. The reference voltage generating element 23 comprises MOSFETs 24, 25 having an identical configuration to that of MOSFETs 8, 9 being components of the inverter 7, and the MOSFETs 24, 25 are configured to be diode connection and connected in series.
