PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent self heating due to electromagnetic wave and to protect an apparatus against damage by applying the apparatus with two kinds of thin plate material exhibiting different electromagnetic wave absorbing/reflecting characteristics while pasting. SOLUTION: Material A out of two kinds of electromagnetic wave absorbing material having low absorption and high reflectance is formed into a thin plate of 0.5 mm thick by admixing a polymer resin with carbon powder, conductive metallic powder, or the like, and kneading the mixture. Material B having high absorption and low reflectance is formed into a thin plate of 0.5 mm thick by admixing a polymer resin with ferrite powder, soft magnetic metallic powder, or the like, and kneading the mixture. The two kinds of electromagnetic wave absorbing material are integrated by pasting these thin plates through an adhesive. The absorbing material thus formed is fixed to an apparatus in the directing for reflecting external electromagnetic wave easily and absorbing internal electromagnetic wave. According to the arrangement, self-heating due to single kind of absorber or overheating due to external electromagnetic wave can be prevented.
