PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly versatile power unit which can avoid increase in cost and operational load by making the power unit to appropriately operate without requiring the exchange of parts or whole device even when the specification for an energy storing section is changed. SOLUTION: A power unit is provided with a conversion section 20 having the function of charging an energy-storing section 30 with the AC power of commercial AC power supply 1 after converting the AC power into DC power and another function which causes the storing section 30 to discharge the stored DC power and supply the discharged DC power to the power line of a load branching section 10 after converting the DC power into AC power. The operating conditions of the conversion section 20 and contactor contacts are set by means of a dip switch. The operation of the conversion section 20 and conduction to loads 3a and 3b are controlled in accordance with the set operating conditions. |
