MULTIMEDIA ELECTRONIC MAIL METHOD AND SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system capable of transmitting/receiving multimedia electronic mail, in which respective included media information are related in the manner of time/space, through a network and further reducing the quantity of information to be transmitted on the network. SOLUTION: Reply mail is prepared by diverting an object included in received mail (step S107) and that mail is transmitted to the computer system of the transmission source in the style of multimedia electronic mail containing all the objects contained in that replay mail excepting for the diverted object and control information concerning all the objects contained in that replay mail (step S108).
