PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small-sized high-power laser device by providing a laser resonator, having a laser crystal and an optical path length different according to the polarizing direction. SOLUTION: A laser device 100 has a condensing optical system 2 which efficiently condenses light emitted from a laser diode 1 on a laser crystal 3 disposed in a laser resonator 4 so that the light of a desired frequency from among lights radiated from the laser crystal 3 is in a resonant state, and an anisotropic material optical element 5 is inserted in the optical path of the laser resonator 4, so that the resonator length of the laser resonator 4 is different in the orthogonally intersecting polarizing directions. Thus an interferometer apparatus can be downsized and make it a high power.
