PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain packaging members, which are excellent in corrosion resistance, by a method wherein a specified ceramic material is used as the material for the packaging members. SOLUTION: A packaging member 4a constituting a closed capacitor is a tabular body having a through hole, a packaging member 4b constituting the capacitor is a box-shaped body having a through hole and both of the members 4a and 4b are formed using a spinel material, such as either of an MgAl2O3 and an MgO and an MgAl2O3 and an Al2O3, which is a high-halogen resistance insulator. The capacitor is one of a structure, wherein the periphery of a main body 3 is covered with the members 4a and 4b. In the main body 3, electrodes 2 are respectively provided on both surfaces of a dielectric material 1, which is formed of a barium titanate (BaTiO3) or the like, via a conductive paste, such as a silver paste, and each one part of the electrodes 2 is made to protrude to the outside through each through hole provided in the members 4a and 4b. As the material for the electrodes 2, a conductive metal, such as copper and nickel, is used. Further the members 4a and 4b are bonded together using an inorganic bonding agent or the like in the bonding method of the members 4a and 4b.
