PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CDMA cellular radio base station which can reduce power consumption on a receiver side while transmission diversity is adopted. SOLUTION: Plural antennas 101a and 101b are separately arranged and sectors 102 and 102b are formed. The antennas 101a and 101b transmit signals which are diffusively modulated by different codes from transmission devices 103a and 103b. The sectors 102a and 102b cover almost the same area. Mobile stations 105 in the sectors 102a and 102b receive signals transmitted from the antennas 101a and 101b, demodulate the signals from the antennas 101a and 101b by the codes and weight/synthesize them. |
