PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radio communication device capable of performing transmission and reception while fast switching the frequencies of a PLL frequency synthesizer by controlling the frequency division control circuit of the PLL frequency synthesizer to variably setting the frequency of a local oscillation signal for transmission. SOLUTION: A frequency setting controlling part 115 switches the frequency F1st of an output signal of a 1st voltage controlled oscillator 113 (1st PLL frequency synthesizer). In frequency switching control, a microprocessor 216 decides a switching frequency based on designation information from a network side at timing being faster than slot switching timing and sets frequency control information, based on the switching frequency to a register 215. Then the frequency control information of the register 215 is supplied to a frequency division control circuit 214 of the 1st PLL frequency synthesizer 113 according to a timing signal from a timing control circuit 217.
