PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert character data into voice data so as to make a speech to a called party or a caller by registering the character data as a message. SOLUTION: An antenna 1 sends/receives a radio wave. A radio section 2 conducts processing such as demodulation of a received wave to execute coding processing for a voice code and also conducts processing such as modulation of voice data to be sent and conversion processing to a transmission wave. A control section 3 as a character data voice reply means conducts incoming function control of a character data automatic reply and dialing function control by character data having already been registered and also has a circuit that automatically converts the character data having already been registered into voice data. A memory section 4 stores character data to be coded into voice codes. An operation section 5 applies input control to character data to be registered in the memory section 4.
