PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a set of intensifying paper that makes it possible to obtain radiographs with high sensitivity and high sharpness. SOLUTION: A set of intensifying paper consists of a pair of a sheet of front intensifying paper and a sheet of back intensifying paper with phosphor layers where phosphors Gd2O2S:Tb are scattered in a bonding resin formed on a support body respectively. The weight of coated phosphors in the phosphor layer of the back intensifying paper is heavier than that of the front intensifying paper. A fluorescent pigment or a fluorescent dye that absorbs at least a part of the emitted light from the phosphors and emits the light in the visible region again is contained in the phosphor layers of at least one of the front intensifying paper and the back intensifying paper. Moreover, the content of the fluorescent pigment or the fluorescent dye in the phosphor layer of the back intensifying paper is lower than that of the front intensifying paper.
