PURPOSE: A pillar trim assembly is provided to cut down expenses by absorbing shock efficiently in modifying the structure of the pillar trim with manufacturing plural ribs, and to match the upper part with the lower part of the center pillar by unifying the option of the pillar trim. CONSTITUTION: A pillar trim assembly(10) is composed of a pillar trim(16) fixed in an inner pillar panel(14), and plural ribs(18) manufactured additionally and fixed in the pillar trim. A base plate(20) is installed between the inner pillar panel and the pillar trim, and plural ribs are integrally formed at both sides of the base plate. A hole is formed in the base plate, and a boss part(24) is formed in the pillar trim arranged for an outer pillar panel(12). The boss part is inserted to the hole, and plural ribs are fixed in the pillar trim with hot melting. The base plate and plural ribs are manufactured integrally of steel. The impact absorbing structure of the pillar trim is changed efficiently with manufacturing plural ribs additionally and fixing in the pillar trim.
