PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of preventing electric components from being exposed at the time of light distribution adjustment. SOLUTION: A reflection board 2 in the form of a parabolic curved surface is installed in a luminaire body 1 having a rectangular opening 1a in the under- part. The reflection board 2 includes a lamp 3 of straight tube type, and at the two ends of this lamp 3, sockets 4 are installed for holding the lamp 3 in electric connections. A stabilizer 5 is installed on the surface opposing to the opening 1a of the luminaire body 1. The reflection board 2 is pivotally supported turnably around the center of the lamp 3 as a rotary shaft. The reflection board 2, lamp 3, and socket 4 are arranged so that the rotary shaft is positioned inside the luminaire body 1 so that the board 2 does not protrude from the body 1 when the board 2 is rotated. At the open end of the board 2, a frame-shaped decoration plate 6 having approximately the same shape as the opening 1a is abuttingly installed in such a way as slidable along the open end. The abutting surface of the decoration plate 6 to the board 2 blocks the gap generated between the board 2 and luminaire body 1 when the reflection board 2 in sliding turns around the rotary shaft as flucrum. |
