PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make stable multiple transfer so as to be realized by reducing the retransfer in the multiple transferring system. SOLUTION: This image-forming device is provided with first and second attracting stages for stabilizing carrying property of transfer material 6 on a transfer sheet 8a. The device is allowed to make the maximum electrostatic charge quantity per unit area possible to hold on assumed transfer material to increase by applying the charge in polarity opposite to the charge applied on the transfer material rear side in the transferring stage, in the transfer part allowed to pass through between two attracting process thereof.
