PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability. SOLUTION: The direction of an arrow H in which data is read and written by an electromagnetic data read/write device 11 and that of an arrow L in which data is read and written by an optical data reader 10 are caused to approximately coincide with each other in a device front end part 5. Then, the device front end part 5 in the same position is directed toward a code symbol or an IC chip placed in the same direction to be able to read data of the code symbol or the IC chip by a handy terminal 1, thereby improving the operability of the handy terminal 1. |
