PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic element having an improved photographic printing paper having with improved gloss, toughness, small curling, high sharpness and improved whiteness degree. SOLUTION: This photographic element consists of at least one layer of photosensitive silver halide layer having at least one kind of dye-forming coupler, and a supporting body having a laminated paper of upper and lower sheets including a biaxially oriented polyolefin sheet. The photographic element has 0.15 to 0.50 μm surface roughness, 150 to 300 mN average rigidity, 0.8 to 1.2 ratio of rigidity in the machine direction to rigidity in the perpendicular direction to the machine direction, 10 curling units as the max. curling value at 20 to 70% humidity, 0.30 to 2.00 μm roughness of the rear face, and 300 to 900 N tear strength. |
