PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting liquid crystal displays for inverter devices for motor drive with accuracy in a short time. SOLUTION: A test program for turning on or off all the pixels of a liquid crystal display 2 is installed in the storage section of CPU1 for use in generation of pulse width modulation driving waveform in an inverter device, ordinary transmission of data displayed on a liquid crystal display or the like, and normal operating state is changed over to operation testing state by a switch 3 to judge the acceptability of the liquid crystal display. If there is any defect in a liquid crystal display 2, some pixels are not turned on or off. Therefore, the acceptability of the liquid crystal display 2 is judged with ease and reliability. |
