PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the occurrence of speckle-like hologram defects even in a heated and/or pressurized state during storage by laminating a transparent protective film on the surface with a transparent hotmelt adhesive layer interposed. SOLUTION: This volume hologram laminated body consists of a hologram layer 1 and a transparent protective film 3 laminated with a transparent hotmelt adhesive layer 2 on the surface of the hologram layer 1. The volume hologram layer 1 is produced by applying a volume hologram recording material on a supporting body film, and then the interference fringes corresponding to the wave front of the light from the object in a modified form of transmission or refractive index are recorded. When the hologram is to be duplicated, duplication can be easily produced by adhering to the volume hologram master, exposing and developing. The hotmelt adhesive is, for example, an ethylene- vinylacetate copolymer resin or the like, and its thickness is preferably 2 to 30μm. The protective film 3 is transparent, and for example, a resin such a polyethylene film is used, and its film thickness is preferably 2 to 200μm.
