ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC LIQUID DEVELOPER AND METHOD FOR FIXING FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain in a short time an electrophotographic liquid developer which can be fixed by a chemical change with low energy without generating solvent vapor. SOLUTION: A colorant and a bonding resin are dispersed as essential components in a nonaqueous solvent, having high insulation and a low dielectric constant to obtain the objective electrophotographic liquid developer. At least a part of the nonaqueous solvent is a fatty oil having two or more unsaturated bonds with 109Ω.cm or higher electrical resistance and a dialectic constant of 5.0 or smaller. The colorant is preferably flushed with a resin having 50-120 deg.C softening point.
