The invention uses existing equipment used for monitoring the data relating to the cables themselves to also monitor the equipment used in pressurizing the cables. It involves using the response mode of the pressure transducers, in current modulated mode and the actual tele-surveillance system. The current modulation is within a twisted pair line.
