PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate use of a clock built in an electric apparatus without any sacrifice of a timer function, by supplying a switching control signal to a switching means, and supplying an electric apparatus control signal to the electric apparatus through a communication line. SOLUTION: In this power-saving system for electric apparatus, electric apparatuses 1a to 1n are connected to an electric source 32 through a centralized control device 5. The centralized control device 5 includes a switching means 3 having switches SW1 to SWn whose one terminal is connected to the electric source 32 and whose other terminal is connected to the electric apparatuses 1a to 1n respectively, a clock 4 directly-driven by the electric source 32, a control means 5 for materializing the functions of a timer and so on, and an inputting means 6 for inputting operational setting information into the control means. The electric apparatuses 1a to 1n are connected to the control means 3 through a communication line 7. It is thus possible to eliminate use of the clock built in the electric apparatus as well as wasteful use of electric power. |
